I am lucky to have spent my life both listening to the voices of others (editor) and developing my eye (artist) to appreciate more deeply the world around me. It’s those years of listening, reflecting, responding, practicing, looking, and making books and art that have brought me to this moment where I finally feel I can hear my own voice and have something to say, sometimes in words and sometimes in words and pictures (author/illustrator).
